Where we were before, it was less...contained. It was a city rather than a mansion. People were split among designations and not really inclined to work together, or actively encouraged not to. I think it's something we're still trying to get used to. [ which isn't really an excuse, just an explanation. which mel might be tired of hearing. ] I can't speak for anyone else involved, in that or in whatever people were hiding. But maybe it's something people can move past, or grow out of, now that we know more.

I don't think people will give you too much shit about it. People were upset when Nat set the house on fire but nobody was, like, harassing her... [ That Melissa knows about, anyway. ] People move on when the next crisis happens.
