Warnings: i realize that we're at the point in time where the series takes place by now (christ that's a frightening thought), but max is played with her mid/late season two age (making her 21) unless otherwise noted. also, i'm also going strictly by the television series when it comes to canon; i'm familiar with the novels (yes, there are novels!) but to consider those canon would contradict a lot of what was established in the show.

i wasn't joking when i said 'cat woman'; max has feline in her dna. this is relevant because she goes into heat about three times a year; she canonically has regretted her decisions during this time but doesn't consider her experiences nonconsensual. i realize that this doesn't mean people she would interact with would see engaging with her during this time as consensual, so if you would prefer not to engage in that scenario just let me know. (alternately if you want your character to engage with her in that scenario i'm down for it; again, just let me know.)
