Yeah, I am. Largely because I'm not really going anywhere. Honestly, I might start going stir-crazy before too long. I've never been great at sitting still like this.
Assuming they play anything good that isn't just straight porn, you mean. I'll probably end up painting or drawing more than I watch tv, though. It's a good excuse for it.

Depends on the medium, really. I like using charcoal or graphite for portraits. Paints are best for murals or landscapes. I actually painted a wall in the apartment they provided when I first got here. I'm sure they covered it up when I moved out.
[ max could probably learn to draw or paint, but she knows something would be lacking if she did. it would require a passion she's not sure if she has, but she likes to hear about what other people like. ]

[ Clary takes a significant amount of pictures (and has saved lots that were sent to her) so it really does take a little bit for her to find one. But eventually, Max gets a picture of Clary's old apartment in the Up, one wall almost completely covered in a semi-abstract mural of the New York City skyline and one of the beaches up there. ]
I mean, it definitely does, but I'm also really bad at getting totally lost in the art when I do it. I've seriously lost entire days while drawing or painting. Even forgotten to eat on multiple occasions. I just put on music and let whatever tools I'm using take control.
